American Cancer Society Scientist Appointed to World Trade Center Health Panel

Elizabeth Ward, Ph.D.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has appointed 15 independent panelists to review scientific and medical evidence and make recommendations to the World Trade Center Health Program’s Scientific/Technical Advisory Committee. Among them, Elizabeth Ward, Ph.D., national vice president of intramural research, who will be chair person of the Advisory Committee. The committee will advise the WTC Health Program administrator on eligibility criteria and on WTC related health conditions.
